KING-TING LAM 林敬庭
Printmaker
King-ting Lam was born and raised in Hong Kong, currently lives in Taiwan.
He is deeply fascinated by places with unique lighting. He often strives to depict light through exquisite wood engraving prints, creating a poetic atmosphere.
In recent years, he learnt to ride a scooter in Taiwan and obtained the freedom to explore the surroundings. This led him to start the print series "Day and Night Patrol".
In this series, he likes to employ monochrome to depict day and night scenes, portraying the interplay of light and shadow in different environments.
林敬庭，生長於香港，現居台灣。
對於那些具獨特日照的地方，林氏深感著迷。因此，他常常以能雕刻出細緻畫面的木口木刻版畫來描繪光線，並營造出具詩意的氛圍。近年居於台灣的敬庭學會騎機車後，如獲自由以遊歷四周。於是，他開始了創作版畫系列「晝夜巡」。在這個系列中，他喜以單色表現日夜風景，呈現不同環境中的光影交錯。
